The COVID Response in Aged Care - Chris Mamarelis (Whiddon)

Today's conversation is all about the COVID response in Australian aged care. Now this is a bit of a first for us - we’ve been interviewing prominent and interesting folk from the aged care industry for the last year and we’ve yet to have a conversation focused on COVID. But helping us take an in-depth look at the response so far and the future of how the aged care sector can adapt to a world in which we live with COVID, is CEO of Whiddon Aged Care, Chris Mamarelis.

One topic we focus on, which you may relate to or find interesting, is the confusing and problematic communication throughout the COVID response from various levels of Government. Chris and the Whiddon team have recently released a paper identifying some recurring problems and proposing possible solutions to mitigate this in future.
