Today we are talking to Ilsa Hampton. Ilsa is the CEO of Meaningful Ageing Australia, a not for profit organisation that promotes holistic support for older adults both in and out of Aged Care.

Meaningful Ageing Australia is primarily concerned with helping older adults capture meaning in their lives, and to look at the ways in which aged care services and workers can facilitate discovery and fostering of meaningful activities for each individual.

They often associate it with the concept of a spiritual gift and this episode starts with a really clear explanation from Ilsa about how spiritual care goes far beyond faith-based activities.

In this conversation, we look at ways to better support care workers through their work and about reinforcing individuality through Ageing.
